American Dream mall ski lift malfunctions, 25 rescued
EAST RUTHERFORD -- There was a no-go on the Big Snow at American Dream mall May 8 as the borough's fire department was called to extricate 25 customers stuck on its indoor ski lift.
North America's only indoor year-round ski area came to a temporary halt while skiers were rescued from the lift without injury, according to the American Dream security department.
Security confirmed May 9 that power had been restored and the lift was back in working order.
