Anna Camp is owning her truth.
In PEOPLE's exclusive clip from the Tuesday, March 10, episode of the podcast I've Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDario, the Scream 7 actress comes out publicly as bisexual.
"As a 43-year-old woman, I am very proud of myself for owning my sexuality at this age,” Camp tells DiDario in the clip. “I am a very strong person for doing it in somewhat of a spotlight with people criticizing and judging and making assumptions. I'm really proud to be bisexual."
Camp also discusses navigating “a major evolution in my 40s and not being afraid of it,” as she puts it.
“Sure, there are times I feel like I am taking a risk and this is scary and I’m doing it in a public forum. But to say, ‘No, I only get one life and I want to be happy,’ that’s what life is all about," she says.

After stepping out and confirming a relationship with Jade Whipkey in May 2025, Camp made the romance red-carpet official at the June premiere of her movie Bride Hard.

Before identifying as queer in 2025, the actress was married to actor Michael Mosley from 2010 to 2013. She then married her Pitch Perfect costar Skylar Astin in 2016. They separated in April 2019 and finalized their divorce that same year.
“You think you've got this idea of who you are and that's how your life is going to go,” she reflects on I’ve Never Said This Before. “And that's happened to me several times in my life, where I thought that I knew what was happening. And it could have stopped in that way. I could have settled. I could have said, no, I'm done evolving.”
Instead, Camp adds, her goal has become “to continue to evolve and to learn.”
Camp told Cosmopolitan in July that she and Whipkey, a 24-year-old writer and on-set stylist, were “definitely surprised by all of the attention” their relationship caused online.
“We've been a bit surprised by all of the hubbub, but there's been a lot of support so we're very grateful and thankful for everybody who is supportive of us. It's lovely," she said at the time.
The I've Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDario podcast airs weekly episodes on Tuesdays. Camp stars in Scream 7, in theaters now.
