Lauren Alaina accidentally took the road less traveled.
The country singer got real about a recent preshow wardrobe mishap in Ohio, and she couldn't help but poke fun at herself.
In a new Instagram video, the "Getting Over Him" singer, 31, filmed the hilarious moment she realized that she had on "two different boots" — a black one and a brown one — and asked her followers to pick one or both for her to wear. "I was trying to decide between the two boots," she explained.

Even in the clip, Alaina remembered the advice she got from a friend before leaving the hotel: "You said, ‘Whatever you do, don’t forget to put the other shoe on.’"
Meanwhile Chase Matthew, who collaborated with Alaina on "All My Exes," said, "This can’t be real. Merry Christmas! Oh my God." Then he joked, “I think it’s cool. We call that aftermarket" and said Alaina was "full-blown mom today."
The CMA Award nominee did, in fact, welcome her first baby, daughter Beni Doll Arnold, with husband Cam Arnold, on June 11.
"The right words are hard to find to describe how parts of my heart that I didn’t even knew existed were unlocked at 8:44 am when they laid you on my belly for the first time. I will never be the same," the couple wrote in the caption of their Instagram announcement. "You, to your dad and me, are absolute perfection. We are honored God chose us to be your parents. Thank you to everyone for all of the love, prayers and support for our precious daughter."
Since then, she's been getting back on the saddle. On Nov. 19, the mom of one attended the 2025 CMA Awards outfitted in a glam gown made with a shattered glass motif. Turns out, the look cut a deeper meaning for the star.

"I picked this one of a kind mirror dress for so many reasons. My daughter’s favorite thing to do is look in the mirror. Seeing her smile at herself and me and be in awe of our reflections has changed everything about the way I see myself. I hope she is always that happy when she looks in the mirror. I am trying to be more like her," she wrote on Instagram.
She added that the fitted mirror dress was a way to "celebrate" her body five months after giving birth (in January, she told PEOPLE that her struggles with body image were transformed while pregnant with Beni), as well as the lessons she's learned from motherhood, "We should all love ourselves like a baby seeing herself for the first time."
