One of the events lost to construction of the new Stadium of the Future has found a new home.
Monster Jam, which packed EverBank Stadium every February with tens of thousands of fans cheering on giant car-smashing trucks, moves indoors for two days. Monster Jam comes to VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena for three performances, two on Saturday, Sept. 5, and one on Sunday, Sept. 6. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 12. Ticket prices are unavailable but are expected to start around $15.
Monster Jam has indoor and outdoor shows nearly every week and the events are similar. The indoor shows have less room for the trucks to maneuver and can be very loud, but fans should still expect to see 12,000-pound trucks get airborne. Drivers will take part in three competitions: Racing, Two-Wheel Skills and Freestyle.
Monster Jam has not yet released the names of the trucks and drivers who will compete in Jacksonville, but fan-favorite Grave Digger is likely to be among them. Monster Jam typically puts on two or three events every weekend and has more than one of each truck available. Over the weekend of May 9-10, for instance, Monster Jam held events in Massachusetts, Colorado, New Hampshire and Illinois, and a Grave Digger competed in each one.

Competitions are scheduled for 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, and 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6. A separately ticketed Pit Party, where fans can meet drivers and take pictures with the trucks, will be held at 10:30 a.m. each day. Tickets will also be available for a 30-minute post-race driver meet-and-greet session after each event.
There will also be a Trackside Experience before each Monster Jam event. It starts an hour before the competition and is included with each ticket. The event includes driver interviews, giveaways and an explanation of what fans should expect.
Drivers will be competing for season-long Arena Championship Series points, and fans will be able to score the performances in real time from their seats.
Monster Jam has long been a fixture at EverBank Stadium, but the stadium is unavailable in 2026 and 2027 due to a massive reconstruction project that will see the Jaguars playing to reduced-capacity crowds this season and in Orlando the year after. Stadium construction is planned to be completed by August of 2028.
