Dak Prescott's ex-fianceé Sarah Jane Ramos is responding to rumors about her relationship with the Dallas Cowboys quarterback.

After it was confirmed that Ramos and Prescott called off their wedding a month before it was supposed to take place in Italy, the wine specialist commented on an Instagram video that claimed their breakup was related to a prenup.

An Instagram Reel from the *Speakeasy Talk Show* account featured cohosts Emmanuel Acho and LeSean McCoy talking about the breakup and rumored financial arrangements. At one point in the March 9 clip, text on the video read: "The rumor is that Dak spent the last few months pushing hard for a rock-solid prenup to protect his new bag, and she flat-out refused to sign it."

Ramos responded in the comments section, shutting down any speculation. "This had nothing to do with a prenup. I hope we can put that rumor to rest now," she wrote.**

Prescott and Ramos began dating in 2023 and got engaged in October 2024 during a golf outing. They announced their news with a shared Instagram post.

"Mine Forever!!!! The Best Friend, Partner, Teammate, Mother, and Now Fiancé I could Ask or Pray for!," the NFL star captioned the post. "Thank you God for this Blessing and Family! I Love you @sarahjane 4EVER!"

They share daughters Margaret Jane Rose, 2, and Aurora Rayne, who they welcomed in May 2025.

On Monday, March 9, a rep for Ramos told PEOPLE exclusively that they called off their engagement, noting that they were "both heartbroken that they’re not getting married." The rep also cleared up any misconceptions about their breakup, adding, "There wasn’t any rockiness in the lead up, and there was no big argument or blow up. It was a mutual decision."**

"They love their girls, and they’re committed to raising their children together in the most loving and positive way," the statement continued. "It’s still shocking for them since this happened so recently, and they ask for privacy while they sort everything out.”

Ahead of the news about their breakup circulating online, Ramos shared pictures on Instagram from a sun-soaked bachelorette party, along with a carousel from her bridal shower.

"I truly believe you can get through anything in life as long as you have really great friends. I love these girls so much ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥," Ramos captioned the bachelorette party pictures.

Prescott and Ramos were also photographed together at the NFL Honors at the Palace of Fine Arts on Feb. 5 in San Francisco.
