Gypsy Rose Blanchard said she "hoped" her ex would overdose before his untimely death, according to leaked recordings.
Blanchard's former fiancé, Ken Urker, was found dead on his 34th birthday at his rental home in Raceland, Louisiana. According to a report from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office, Urker was discovered on October 1 lying on his bed, cold to the touch.
Authorities reported finding a brown powdery substance, syringes and a spoon in the bathroom. On the nightstand by his bed, police officers also found a handgun and a syringe. Urker's sister, Autumn Snyder, later revealed that he had been sleeping with a gun nearby out of fear due to intense online death threats, stalking, and doxing stemming from his high-profile relationship.

No foul play is thought to be involved in Urker's death and a cause of death has not been released. However, Urker's former fiancé and the mother of his child, Gypsy Rose Blanchard, claimed it may have been a drug overdose. And it's now been claimed that before Urker's passing, Blanchard "hoped" he would overdose, according to a leaked prison phone call.

In a recording obtained by the Daily Mail, the convicted felon recalled telling Urker to overdose during their on-off relationship, first in 2020 and then again in 2021.

In the call, which was made to Blanchard's former husband, Ryan Anderson, the 35-year-old said she'd been listening to the Tate McRae song, You Broke Me First, which she described as a "very sad little melody about someone that somebody is trying to get back with them."
She then told Anderson, "So, anyway, I sent [Urker] that song, and then, next thing you know, he gone," referencing her late ex leaving her, before shockingly adding, "No, even after I told him he could overdose and all that, like, he still kept himself on my email, like, he never took himself off no matter how bad we got into it or how bad it seemed like we were at odds."
Anderson seemed unimpressed with her comment, responding, "I don't want to talk about Ken. F--k Ken." However, Blanchard would make a similar comment again, saying in 2021 that she once "told Ken I hope he overdose[s]."

This comes after the Daily Mail revealed that Blanchard admitted to stabbing a headboard after Urker allegedly sent a romantic card to his ex. In a recording, Blanchard told Amelia Bird, a friend who remains behind bars, that she became enraged after finding the card.
"I drank vodka, tequila, rum and whiskey," Blanchard reportedly told Bird, explaining that she went out after finding the card. She then returned home, telling her friend, "I go grab a knife in the kitchen, and I go to that headboard, and I stab the motherf--ing headboard, and I carve 'w---e' in the headboard."
The mother-of-one also alleged she "took a pair of scissors" and cut up a blanket, before sending enraged texts and running off to her parents' home while she was "drunk as f--k."
