Harvey Weinstein has no hard feelings towards Adrien Brody, who is currently dating the disgraced producer and convicted sex offender's ex-wife Georgina Chapman.

In his first major interview from behind bars, the former Hollywood mogul was asked if he was bothered when Brody thanked Chapman and the two children she shares with Weinstein while accepting the Best Actor Oscar for *The Brutalist*.

"I was happy," Weinstein told *The Hollywood Reporter*. "It’s good that my kids have someone in their lives. And Georgina suffered terribly because of me. I’m glad she’s finally found some happiness."

This was also the sentiment expressed in Weinstein's initial reaction, days after the March 2025 awards ceremony. In a statement shared with ** via email, a rep for Weinstein wrote, "Harvey is happy for Georgina and deeply grateful that his children are receiving the love and care they so rightly deserve."

The loving tribute from Brody came toward the end of his lengthy acceptance speech, which saw him at one point speak directly to Chapman, his date to the ceremony.

"I share this with my amazing partner, Georgina, who has not only reinvigorated my own self-worth, but my sense of value and my values," Brody said. "And her beautiful children, Dash and India. I know it's been a roller coaster, but, thank you for accepting me into your life. Popsy's coming home a winner!"

Chapman and Weinstein were married for a decade, but separated in 2017, following reports in *The New York Times** *and *The New Yorker* that accused the prolific producer of sexual misconduct with more than a dozen women. The couple finalized their divorce in 2022.

Weinstein noted that while he and Chapman no longer speak to one another, she continues to allow him contact with their children.

"She lets me see our children, which I am grateful for," he said. "I am sorry she got such a bad rap. She knew nothing about what I was doing. I was a master of deception."

Referencing her fashion label Marchesa, he added, "To punish her company is an act of insanity. All those women she dressed so beautifully abandoned her overnight. Have some courage, for God’s sake!"

In addition to his kids with Chapman, Weinstein has three daughters with his first wife, Eve Chilton. He told *The Hollywood Reporter* that while he is in contact with his eldest daughter, who he speaks to "every single day," he has not been able to reach the other two kids from his first marriage.

"[They] haven’t talked to me for six years," Weinstein said, later adding, "They never respond. It’s been radio silence from them ever since the allegations started."
