Sophie Cunningham’s second season with the Indiana Fever is under way.
The former Missouri women’s basketball star scored three points and had four rebounds as the Indiana Fever lost to the Dallas Wings 107-104 in a thrilling season-opener Saturday in Indianapolis.
The Mizzou alum was relatively quiet from the floor, as she finished 1-of-2 shooting from the field. Her lone field goal was a second-quarter corner 3-pointer, which was her only attempt from behind the arc in the game.
Cunningham added three assists in the season-opening game and had no turnovers. She finished with a -5 plus/minus over 26 minutes on the floor.
