Potential Basketball Hall of Famer Draymond Green just checked Boston Celtics' top player for coming off like a sore loser.

After Celtics lost a 3-1 series lead to the Philadelphia 76ers and ultimately exiting the playoffs, Jaylen Brown went on the livestreaming platform Twitch and gave his unfiltered thoughts on 76ers star Joel Embiid.

He accused Embiid of constantly pretending to be hurt after bodily contact to score more free throws for his team during the game, popularly known as "flopping."

“Flopping has ruined our league,” Brown said. “Joel Embiid is a great player. One of the best bigs in basketball history. Flops. He knows it.”

On the NBA playoffs round 1 recap episode of his podcast, the Golden State Warriors forward commended the Sixers for their performance in the playoff series before setting his sights on Brown, who was recently fined $50,000 by the NBA for other comments he made about NBA officials having an "agenda."

Green sympathized with Brown's agitation at first, saying that there were more foul calls in this postseason than usual and conceding that Embiid has had that tendency in the past.

"Not a huge fan of calling a guy out after you've lost," Green said. "I just don't love that because it comes off as excuse-making."

Green also made the case for Brown that the man fans call "J.B." could very well be honest in his criticism of Embiid; however, the Celtics' string of losses and subsequent postseason exit makes his gripes feel like sour grapes.

"I'm always very skeptical about saying things like this after a loss, just because people will take it and they do what they want to do with this statement, make it out to be what they want to be," Green said.

Green was ultimately complimentary of the Boston player, praising the success that he had carrying Boston while Jayson Tatum was injured.

"I do not think this is the end of their era, they (have) still shown they can compete," Green said. "I do think they're going to have to improve the team around them."
