*One Piece* star Iñaki Godoy goes inside the belly of the beast. In this case, that beast is Laboon the whale.
On set of season 2 in Cape Town, South Africa, cast members give ** an inside look at the major sets, including the innards of the "Big Friendly" known as Laboon. As the guy behind captain of the Straw Hats, Monkey D. Luffy, Godoy didn't spend much time inside Laboon. Unlike his costars' characters, his was spent largely in the lighthouse of Laboon's human caretaker, Crocus (Clive Russell).
The set, which Godoy points out was largely filmed at night for visual effects purposes, is a colorful graveyard of corpses, wrecked ships, and other remains of those who failed to enter the Grand Line.

Skylar concludes with a breakdown of an explosive sequence that involves a machine gun-firing otter attacking Sanji from atop a flying vulture outside the wax house belonging to Mr. 3 (David Dastmalchian). The actor explains how the crew rigged the runway with bomb pods buried in the ground.
"My note and my action was so clear," Skylar says, explaining how he was supposed to turn around and sprint down a dirt path following the first explosion.

"I knew I couldn't stop, I knew that the point at which all the things the director had said could go wrong *went* wrong. I had no choice but to just keep running."
And it gets more chaotic from there.
