Pink may have started the year with a challenging experience, but it’s not always difficult for the singer-songwriter after hitting a career milestone.

Known for her powerful vocals and notable songs, she has released a slew of popular tracks such as “Don't Let Me Get Me,” "Just Like a Pill" and "Family Portrait."

Interestingly, one of her classic songs continues to captivate listeners and recently reached one billion streams on Spotify.

The pop ballad, from her album The Truth About Love and released in September 2012, has amassed 1,000,879,533 as of Jan. 6.

To mark the special moment, Pink posted a heartfelt video featuring the behind-the-scenes footage and the official music video of “Try.”

Pink performs onstage as a part of her Summer Carnival tour at the Moody Center on November 03, 2024 in Austin, Texas.

Moreover, she also expressed her deep gratitude and at the same time disbelief that the song has resonated with fans for 13 years.

“A billion streams of Try. That’s wild. This song has always been my love letter to anyone who’s ever risked their heart, got burned, and chose to live again anyway. Thank you for being brave enough to try with me,” she captioned her post.

“Thank you for this song. I think for many, it's more than a song, it's a mantra. I hear it when I turn on the TV or radio and at times when I need it most. A voice in my head screaming to try. Thank you! So gotta get up and try try try,” a follower noted.

“This song saved my life, thank you @pink,” a commenter wrote.

The pop-rock star wowed fans with electrifying live performances of “Try” including on The X Factor Australia and at the 2012 American Music Awards, where she paired her powerful vocals with a striking interpretive dance.

Pink Undergoes Surgery on New Year’s Eve

From commanding the stage to a quiet New Year’s Eve in recovery, the three-time Grammy winner revealed on social media that she had undergone surgery to get “two new shiny discs” in her neck.

In an Instagram post she shared that 2026 will be the year she will be focusing on her health.

“And I end the year giving reverence to, paying attention to, and to fixing my body. It may not be a fancy facelift, but I am getting two new shiny discs in my neck. A new scar, a new reminder, that I appreciate this vessel that I have and use it for all its worth,” she said, along with a photo of her wearing a hospital gown.
