The Ready or Not 2 star, 33, shared that she is expecting her first baby with her husband, director and screenwriter Jimmy Warden, announcing the news on Instagram Tuesday, Dec. 16. Weaving posted a carousel of photos on her social media, which included snaps of her wearing a mesh lace shirt that accentuated her pregnant belly.

She also added a photo of herself getting ready with her hair up and eye masks on. Weaving was pictured in a bathrobe that was open and showed off her baby bump.

"Ready or Not: Here I Come 😏," the star cheekily wrote in her caption.

Back in March, Weaving and Warden spoke with PEOPLE about the actress' directorial debut Borderline, which they worked on together. When asked in a chat with PEOPLE about the film if there are any rules they follow to keep their relationship strong, the actress said, "When I'm away or if Jimmy's away shooting, we try not to go two and a half or three weeks [without seeing each other]."

"And then we get weird," said Warden, while his wife added that, if they are apart any longer, things "start getting strained" between them.

"We do daily jokes too," Warden, who also wrote Cocaine Bear, continued of himself and his actress wife. "Like, voice notes of just jokes."

In the same interview, the couple told PEOPLE that they never actually had a wedding. Although they got married, they weren't able to celebrate with a proper party since it was during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

Asked whether any of their own wedding-day details made it into the scene, Weaving told PEOPLE, "We never actually had a wedding."

"We got married but then COVID hit, so we had to cancel the wedding," she said, joking that they "put in a pool" in their home instead.

"Well, we made the movie instead," added Warden. "I guess we had our wedding, and it's in the movie."
