- Scott Adams said that he is "paralyzed below the waist" amid his prostate cancer battle.

- The *Dilbert* creator also said that his Pluvicto treatments have been delayed due to radiation treatments.

- Adams previously asked President Trump to grant him access to Pluvicto, which the president seemingly granted.

Scott Adams is facing further medical challenges amid his battle with prostate cancer.

The *Dilbert* creator shared an update on his health status on his YouTube channel on Saturday, revealing that he's "paralyzed below the waist" as he continues to undergo treatment for cancer.

"I can't move any muscles," he said. "I do have feeling, I just can't move any muscles. And the solution as of today is we're gonna ambulance me over to a facility to get radiated and they're gonna try to radiate that pesky tumor that's around my spine if all goes well, and it gets more tumor than it gets good stuff, I might get my, at least ability to get to get some strength back in my lower body."

Adams said that "several days of radiation" and help from the nursing staff will "get me to the point where I can do enough myself that I can go home" from the hospital. "We've MRIed it and looked at it, and I've got all the help I need at Kaiser," he said. "More than enough. They're bending over backwards."

Adams announced that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer that had spread to his bones in May, and said at the time that he did not expect to live much longer. After some successful treatment with testosterone blockers, Adams posted a public plea to President Trump to grant him access to Pluvicto, a drug that he claimed his insurance provider "dropped the ball in scheduling the brief IV to administer it and I can’t seem to fix that."

After outreach from Donald Trump Jr. and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., President Trump himself wrote, "On it!" on a repost of Adams' request. The next day, the cartoonist said that he had a Pluvicto treatment scheduled.

However, in Sunday's livestream, Adams said that his Pluvicto treatment would be postponed due to the radiation treatment. "That was, of course, my great hope, that the Pluvicto would be the cure," he said. "It still might be, I don't know this for sure. But we might be able to radiate me back to some kind of functioning person. And then if I'm functioning, there's a possibility of that being put back on [the Pluvicto list], but it's possible I've lost my spots. So I don't know if I will ever get the Pluvicto or not. If I don't, I will be unhappy."

On Monday, Adams livestreamed another update, noting that there were "no obvious benefits from the treatments" so far, and that he still "can't move my muscles" below the waist.

Adams rose to fame as the creator of the *Dilbert* comic strip, which first launched in 1989. The cartoon was dropped from numerous publications in 2023 after the artist went on a racist rant that called Black people a "hate group."
