It must be a slow news day when Donna Kelce makes headlines for simply renovating her home — but for her youngest son Travis Kelce, the viral story actually was informative.

“I didn’t even know she was doing these things,” the NFL tight end confessed on *The Pat McAfee Show* on Tuesday. “If she needed a guy to come screw some door hinges in, she could’ve just called me," he joked. “But I guess she’s doing a big massive renovation.”

Over the weekend, TMZ published the “exclusive” that the Kelce matriarch had hired a construction crew to replace nine windows and six doors at her home in Orlando, Fla.

The “breaking news” went viral with 1.9 million views on X (as of Tuesday), thanks to social media personalities and meme-makers poking fun at the ridiculousness of it all.

"Daylight savings happened purely to give donna kelce an extra hour of daylight to renovate her home," @picturetokurn quipped. Some made political jokes. "Bombing Iran to distract from the Donna Kelce home renovation," @BalloonFlavour added.

In perhaps the most random commentary, the Empire State Building's X account tweeted, "Congrats to Donna Kelce on remodeling her modest Florida home!"

Jason Kelce even got in on the fun. The retired NFL player shared TMZ’s post on X with his own two cents: “BREAKING!! Sources confirm Donna Kelce’s eldest son watched 2 hours of Bluey yesterday.”

The other big news in the Kelce family is that Travis, 36, will be returning to the NFL for his 14th season. Despite swirling retirement rumors, the three-time Super Bowl champion confirmed to McAfee he will indeed be back on the football field — and with the Kansas City Chiefs. “I’m still in love with this game,” Travis gushed.

It helps that his significant other, Taylor Swift, continues to work hard at her craft after all these decades as a pop superstar.

He continued, "Of course that's motivating. That's motivating for anybody to see, let alone my fiancée, and knowing that I'm going through something as I try to figure out exactly what the future holds for me.
