Prince Harry has reportedly been unhappy with the comparison between him and ex-Prince Andrew. A source claimed that the Duke of Sussex has reportedly felt that he and his uncle could not be the same. While his scandals were allegedly “youthful mistakes,” the former Duke of York’s controversies appear to paint a different picture.

For those unversed, King Charles’s brother has been facing an investigation after his arrest. Last month, he was taken into custody for 11 hours on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

Prince Harry and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor have reportedly been compared for being “troublesome spares.” However, the 41-year-old would allegedly not accept such comparisons because he has not “embarrassed the monarchy,” a source told OK! Magazine. “From his perspective, that comparison ignores the profound differences between youthful mistakes and the far more serious allegations that have surrounded his uncle,” they claimed.

According to the insider, Harry referred to the differentiation as “fundamentally unjust.” Doing so, it would reportedly reduce the “gravity” of his uncle’s case. “He has no desire to turn this into a public family reckoning when the focus should remain elsewhere,” the source said.

Furthermore, they claimed that the king’s second son seemingly understood that recalling past grievances could reportedly “overshadow” the legal process. Hence, another insider mentioned that Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, would allegedly not get involved in the Andrew drama.

“It is a calculated decision to avoid inflaming an already volatile moment. In this context, choosing not to speak is, in itself, a strategic choice,” they told the outlet.

Meanwhile, the Sussex couple has kept a close bond with the ex-prince’s daughters. Earlier, a report suggested that the pair had allegedly been silently supporting Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice. Reportedly, the youngest sister has “confided” in her cousin after her father’s shocking arrest.
